Black Thread Creative is an industrial design firm specializing in soft-goods. We combine cut and sewn textiles with modern manufacturing techniques to prioritize performance and functionality in textile-based product design. This includes designing backpacks for hiking, duffels and rollers for traveling, and protective cases for electronics. Our products are designed with more functionality than typical fashion accessories, while maintaining intimacy found uniquely with textiles. We oversee all aspects of bringing soft-goods products to market, with a primary focus on product design and design consistency. We work independently or with internal design teams to foster creativity and explore new possibilities.
