Uplifting Black Trans Lives Since 2020 Black Trans Alliance affirms and empowers London’s vibrant black trans community through advocacy, education, and inspiring storytelling. As a Black queer and trans-led non-profit, we envision a world where all people of diverse gender identities and expressions are safe, supported, and valued for who they are. Our mission focuses on amplifying resilient voices, confronting injustice, providing critical services, and creating spaces for our community to connect and celebrate authentic selves. Programming includes policy campaigns protecting trans rights, mental health support resources, leadership development initiatives and platforms spotlighting real lived experiences in all their complexity. While the road ahead remains long, BTA works tirelessly in solidarity with our allies to drive equity and lasting cultural change. Because when we lift up and listen to those pushed furthest to the margins — we all rise higher.
