Blackbird Brewery is a family-owned and brewer-owned local brewery in Wake Forest, NC. Husband and wife owners, Harmony and Ian VanGundy, have spent their professional lives helping build great local breweries in Wake Forest and Raleigh, NC. With decades of experience in brewing, sales, and distribution, their lifelong dream of opening a brewery became a reality in 2022.
Blackbird Brewery is not a venture, an investment or a pet project. This is our life. You can taste it in each sip and feel it when you walk into our tap room. At Blackbird Brewery, you're not just one of our customers, you’re one of us.
