In 2019, Marina Textil S.L. and Texfire S.L. They decided to start a new project together, taking advantage of their knowledge in the design and production of technical fabrics, to launch a new line of evolved fabrics for the world of composites. Producing fiber reinforced thermoplastic prepregs. Weaving the next generation of composite materials. Betting on change, for a more sustainable world, working mainly with thermoplastic matrices, which allow the repair and recycling of the final parts. We have a dynamic manufacturing plant to develop a wide range of bidirectional fabrics using all types of reinforcement fibers; Carbon, Glass, Aramid, Hybrid yarns, Recycled carbon fibers, Natural fibers... We also have a loom specially designed to weave flat tapes up to 20 mm wide, producing "spread tow fabrics". Our fabrics have the possibility of incorporating the thermoplastic matrix in themselves, offering thermoplastic prepregs that can be directly consolidated with simple thermoforming or stamping processes that allow large production volumes because they greatly reduce processing times and avoid additional impregnation or polishing processes.
