Blacksail Fund

The Blacksail Fund is the East Carolina University College of Business’s perpetually managed student investment fund. Founded in Fall 2024, with our first investments made in Spring 2025, Blacksail provides students with hands-on experience in real-world asset management. Our investment strategy spans four core areas: 📈 Equities 💼 Fixed Income 🌾 Commodities 🔐 Hedges Blacksail is more than a fund—it’s a learning platform that empowers future finance professionals through practical decision-making, research, and portfolio management.
