Blackspace Creative Arts and Cultural Hub Pty Ltd

Blackspace Creative Arts + Cultural Hub was founded by Caleb Nichols-Mansell in March 2020. Our mission is to create a platform for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creatives to influence, inspire and educate through shared purpose and passion by offering a space to showcase cultural creativity, expression and art. We want to build our cultural economy and the wealth of our community by authentically retailing cultural arts and crafts to the broader community; building on and embedding cultural knowledges throughout the state that strengthen the cultural identity of our people and encourage more meaningful engagement around issues that directly affect us. Through the sales and trade of our arts and cultural crafts we hope to open dialogue between the consumer and the artist, to share the stories that inspire these pieces and that build the cultural identity of the creative.
