Blade Farming Ltd

Blade Farming is part of the ABP Food Group and is a fully integrated beef farming operation. The business began in 2001 and has grown significantly since the first contract rearing and finishing units signed up. The business is now responsible for more than 25.000 head of cattle each year through a network of supplying dairy farms, dedicated calf rearing units and contract beef finishing units. Blade Farming works with UK retailers and food service customers to develop supply chains that deliver on high quality and consistent beef that focus on high health status farms working to a sustainable program. Blade Farming is also focussing on bringing young farmers into beef production through the unique contracts for calf rearers allowing new entrants to get started. The business also works closely with Compassion in World Farming to find solutions for calves from the dairy herd. Blade Farming has now started operations in Ireland, Northern Ireland & Scotland as well as national coverage throughout England & Wales.
