BLAST Fest

BLAST Fest is a pop-up festival and community engagement lab that fuses the creative power of science, arts and Black culture to bring people together, build knowledge and catalyse social change. We ‘pop-up’ at Caribbean Carnivals, museums, community venues and other cultural events to engage the public with ‘STEAM’ in culturally responsive ways. The BLAST Lab’s are themed projects that provide paid fellowships for emerging Black artists, organisers and storytellers to collaborate with scientists, engineers and researchers on public engagement projects.
