Bleu Mode is a creative agency founded by multidisciplinary artist Julien Boudet. The name “Bleu” is inspired by the Mediterranean Sea, a profound influence on Boudet, who was born and raised in Sète, Southern France. “Mode” simply means “fashion” in French, reflecting the agency's focus. Boudet began his career in Brooklyn, New York, after studying photography and visual arts at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. Since 2013, he has worked across art and fashion, with Bleu Mode evolving as an extension of his creative vision. The agency’s aesthetic draws heavily from 1990s French advertising, characterized by creativity, humor, and emotional storytelling. It also reflects Boudet’s deep connection to the Mediterranean and his nostalgia for growing up in 90s Southern France—a period rich with vibrant visual culture influenced by sports, hip hop, and automotive aesthetics. Bleu Mode specializes in photography, creative direction, marketing, and brand development through product collaborations, consulting, and strategy. The agency also creates immersive brand experiences, such as pop-up stores and archival curations, always ensuring alignment with the client’s brand identity through what they call the Bleu Mode vision.
