Bureau of Local Government Finance

This is the official LinkedIn page of the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF). The BLGF is an attached agency of the Department of Finance that aims to improve the quality of local government finance through the following: * Assist in the formulation and issuance of sound policies on local taxation, revenue administration and public financial management; * Conduct effective supervision of and extensive coordination with local treasury and assessment offices; * Render timely and efficient assistance to the Secretary of Finance in the processing of appointments, designations, and personnel action of all local treasurers and assistant treasurers; * Develop, implement and timely monitor relevant plans and programs on resource management system, collection enforcement and credit financing; and * Provide appropriate consultative services and technical assistance on local taxation, real property assessment and other related matters.
