BLINDSPOTS focuses on places of humanitarian crisis that receive too little public attention. We bring Europe’s “blind spots” into the focal point of social discourse, question political strategies for action and strengthen existing support structures with joint projects and donations.
Through close cooperation with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and people on the ground, we seek to improve relief distribution on Europe’s refugee routes.

The Bosnian canton of Una Sana is a key “blind spot” on the Balkan route to Europe. Over the past four years, this region has seen increasing levels of humanitarian crisis that has been concentrated in a small town located on the border with Croatia. This has become a focal point for our work and the area in which we are most active. Every day there is an influx of people on the run, of which only a small minority manage to pass the heavily armed border patrol and continue their journey into Europe.
