Aiming to be at the forefront of Blockchain technology in the Southeast Asian market, Blockchain Asia is an initiative founded in 2017 by a group of business owners dedicated to amplifying the wave of Blockchain technology and adoption that promises to transform the way that business is done in the region. Blockchain Asia aims to grow the industry through three key areas of focus: 1. Education - Providing international blockchain training and certification courses in partnership with reputable institutions 2. Outreach - Organising events that bring together up-and-coming regional talent with global leaders 3. Development - Assisting with the technical development of new and existing blockchain projects It's a movement that kicks off with Blocfest 2018 (www.blocfest.asia), a one-of-a-kind blockchain festival and conference that features renowned internationals from the academic, regulatory and enterprise spheres of the blockchain world. It will be the first international blockchain event to place its focus on Southeast Asia, with the aim of identifying powerful and meaningful ways for blockchain technology to deepen its impact on both business and everyday life in this fast transforming region of the world.
