About Us “If you can save one life, it’s worth it”. Blokes Walk & Talk (BW&T) is designed to get blokes walking, and if they want to – talking too. Walking is a great stress relief, which is proven to boost energy, improves people’s moods, and reduces anxiety. Blokes can either walk together to socialize with others, or walk quietly, but still know that they’re not alone. BW&T is dedicated to blokes of all types. You don’t have to be depressed or sad to join our walks, and you don’t have to fake a smile if you’ve had a bad day. Life has its ups and down, and if you walk with us regularly, you’ll carry a range of emotions over time. Although walking and talking is our main focus (it’s right there in the name), we also work closely with business and support organisations nationwide, and host all kinds of events across the country. Blokes Walk & Talk continues to reach blokes and bloke supporters across the country, with so many people sharing their stories, and wanting to join us in our mission to support the blokes in our lives. Our Vision Sadly, a bloke doesn’t always know they are doing it tough – they may just be going through the daily motions without realizing that they’re in Struggletown, or carrying some form of stress or anxiety. Our walks are hosted by our trained volunteers who enjoy walking and talking with others. No talk is ever too serious, but always has the option to better understand what support is available, either by reaching out to your guide afterwards, or through our Facebook page. All conversations are private, and can be done anonymously if needed.
