For many years, the Model United Nations university group (MUN) has been one of the most popular student initiatives. The content of the Model United Nations conferences, which take place all over the world, is to recreate how the United Nations works. Students represent individual countries on various committees, familiarizing themselves with debating sociopolitical issues and the diplomatic process.
In recent years, Bucerius Law School has sent MUN delegations all over the world: from Boston and New York to Bangkok and Singapore and several more. Moreover, the intensive preparation during weekly training sessions in the first trimester regularly manifests itself in remarkable successes at the conferences.
