BlueBlocks is a material research and biodesign studio that works with bio-based materials. New materials are applied in sustainable designs. Unused residual streams from the agri-food sector are utilised, as well as other natural raw materials. Currently, BlueBlocks is developing bioplastic from (North-) seaweed, and hardboard from the let-over plant fibres.
