Blue Lines’ mission is to help people understand the significant climate impact of contrails and the easy, cheap, and available solutions that need to be implemented to manage contrails and instantly eliminate 1-2% of global warming.
We envision a near future where everyone in the aviation industry will easily manage contrails to lower the global temperature and slow climate change. 🌎
CO2 from aircraft engine emissions has a very low climate impact, but it lasts for centuries, while the climate impact of condensation trails is very high but only lasts a few hours. If we eliminate most warming contrails, we will, therefore, be cooling down the planet almost instantly, which we desperately need to limit global warming to well below 2.0 C, according to the 2015 Paris Agreement.
