Blue Ridge Abortion Fund (BRAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to expanding and fortifying abortion access by providing financial support to individuals seeking abortions. For over 35 years, BRAF has supported more than 10,000 people, both locally and from out of state. With the continued backing of our community, we provide up to $25,000 each week in abortion funding pledges to Virginians and those traveling to Virginia from states where abortion is inaccessible. We also offer practical support for travel, food, lodging, and childcare costs.
