Blue Temple Conservation

Blue Temple Conservation is a non-profit marine research and conservation organisation, focused on delivering practical and sustainable management plans in fragile marine environments. We conduct research on coral reefs and other ecosystems along with human interactions to identify ecosystem health and threats. Our current work is based in Perhentian, Malaysia and we are working alonside Ecoteer and the Department of Marine Parks to maintain the marine park in the area. Our research is focused on coral reef health, snorkel and dive interactions, coral nursery success, sedimentation and social surveys and education. Working with the aid of the local community and international volunteers, we look to engage locally important issues with the development of plans that can be utilised globally. We update our blog with relevant conservation articles and things of general interest to us and the project.
