Blue Wave Informatics LLP is a small consultancy specialising in design and implementation of informatics solutions for healthcare, both direct patient-clinician interactions and the pharmaceutical industry.
We particularly specialise in information systems around medication - prescribing, dispensing and administration and the decision support that accompanies these.
We also specialise in supporting medicines development and safety - clinical research, pharmacovigilance and regulatory information, including developing innovative ways to manage information and leverage new sources of information in EHRs etc.
Beginning with sound business analysis and documentation, through systems analysis with information models on the various appropriate layers, we design and develop solutions to meet the requirements of our clients. Many of our projects have been long term collaborations, and we have a particular emphasis on sharing our skills and experience with our clients. To this end, we also offer training in various areas, either within a project or separate to it.
Although based in SW England, the majority of our work over the years has been at a national or international level, serving national healthcare initiatives and international implementations.
