Blue Caboose Children's Fund

Blue Caboose is a non-profit organization with a mission to ease the financial burden of having a child living with Cystic Fibrosis while providing emotional support to the families and spreading awareness of the disease. Through public education and community awareness, we raise money to assist families with back-to-school needs, we co-host a holiday party where we provide parents the opportunity to choose gifts for their all of their children. When a family is admitted to the hospital we visit and bring a Caboose Comfort Tote full of necessary items to get them through the hospital stay. On top of that, we have created an amazing community of parents, family and friends of CF children who support each other, lend an ear, and more at our monthly dinners. While we are currently serving families in our area at the Cystic Fibrosis Care Center at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and Cook’s Children's in Fort Worth, Texas we hope to expand to other hospitals and areas in the future. As we continue to grow, we hope to assist more CF families with everyday costs-like groceries, travel, and home expenses-that can quickly add up while a loved one is receiving treatment.
