BlueStar empowers the next generation of Israel advocates and leaders. Our project disseminates free resources for campus and community activists and teaches three Israel education programs: Write On For Israel/San Francisco teen, and adult programs as well as BlueStar Fellows, a program for college students. Each year, nearly 80,000 Jewish American high school graduates enter college mostly unprepared to deal with the anti-Israel environment on many campuses. Our goal is to change that starting with our teen program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our Write On For Israel/San Francisco teen program is a one-year educational program gives young people a background in Jewish and Israeli history, and teaches the critical thinking skills and tools necessary for them to become powerful Israel advocates, spokespeople and opinion leaders - before they reach college. Our Write On For Israel/San Francisco for Adults program's goal is to make sure everyone who cares about Israel's future can discover their courage, learn advocacy skills, and become empowered by the support of like-minded peers. BlueStar Fellows helps Jewish college students overcome anti-Israel campus experiences with their self-esteem and passion for Israel intact.
