Bluewater Acquisition Corp. (TSXV: BAQ.P)

Bluewater Acquisition Corp. is a Capital Pool Company whose common shares trade under the ticker symbol “BAQ.P” on the TSX Venture Exchange (Toronto, Canada). The aim of the company is to identify, evaluate and invest in assets or businesses in the maritime/shipping sector that exhibit growth potential and, when acquired, qualify the company for listing as a regular issuer on the TSX Venture Exchange. Among the assets and businesses the company will be evaluating, are the following: - Ship owning companies with ongoing operations, - Fleets or single vessels in any sector (dry, wet, containers, etc.) for sale by traditional shipping companies, - Fleets or vessels controlled by private equity firms that are seeking a liquidity event, and - Operating companies or SPV structures that are seeking a public vehicle to vend in assets for diversification or other purposes. Bluewater is currently in various stages of identifying and evaluating opportunities that it believes have the elements for growth. Pursuant to stock exchange regulations, Bluewater is able to conduct discussions with potential counterparties and enter into an Agreement in Principle (as defined in TSX Venture Policy 2.4) with respect to a transaction, the consummation of which is intended to meet the requirements of a “Qualifying Transaction”.
