At first, as struggling designers in eastern Europe, then as relatively successful ones, we felt that there's a lack of supportive figures in our industry. While building personal and client projects for the web, we've realised the potential of open source software to coalesce people together. Why not replicate that in design?
By opening borders to our gathered design knowledge, be it alternative software to use for web and graphic design, templates we've created for our day to day work, or just information through blog articles and our community, we aim to foster a sense of unity between designers. One that we often see in other industries, like Software.
