ReMission Foundation (fka BLY Foundation) was established in 2011 with the mission of making a meaningful impact on the fight against cancer by supporting ingenuity in cancer research. Cancer is the second leading cause of health-related deaths in the United States and more than 1.5 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in 2011. While many bright and experienced scientific minds are focused on fighting cancer, we believe there is a need to fund research efforts in the hopes of accelerating the discovery of a cure. Our primary goal as a foundation will be to fund and encourage emerging scientific leaders to "think different" and follow their bold new ideas to pioneer ground-breaking advancements and breakthroughs in cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
