BM SUMER | Consultancy & Research originated from the consultancy B Mutlu Sumer Professor, C Ing., based in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark, active over more than 25 years in Coastal, Offshore, Hydraulic, River, Marine Civil Engineering, with speciality areas such as scour / scour protection around marine and hydraulic structures; marine soil liquefaction and its implications for marine structures; current and wave loading on and hydroelastic vibrations of marine / hydraulic structures including pipelines; river engineering; coastal and river sediment transport. Professor Sumer was joined by Dr. Özgür Kirca in 2015 to set up BM SUMER | Consultancy & Research. Today, BM SUMER | Consultancy & Research provides to clients as consultants in-depth insight and creative solutions in matters related to all aspects of Coastal, Hydraulic and Offshore Engineering. Extending beyond the classical consultancy services, BM SUMER Consultants provide services in which consultancy and advanced-research go hand in hand.
