The lab has got more than twenty years of experience at the research field of oxidative stress, mitochondria. Furthermore, we have experience at the field of molecular biology, in the investigation of ferroptosis and cell death mechanisms, in the investigation of the metabolism of KRAS mutant tumour cells and drug induced liver injury. We are familiar with research methods connected to preparing mitochondria, measuring ROS generation and antioxidants (vitamin E and C, GSH), mammalian cell maintenance, isolation of cell organelles, real-time PCR, western blotting, flow cytometry, determining mammalian and plant specific ETC components.
