Bmhc Scouts Group

Bmhc Scouts Group company information, Employees & Contact Information

Scouting offers fun, challenge and everyday adventure to over 450,000 young people in the UK alone while giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential. The principles of Scouting encourage young people to develop inner discipline, be involved in group activities with others, understand the world around them and help create a more tolerant and caring society. The BMHC Scout Group was established with a small group of local parent volunteers in November 2014. The Scouts group is part of the Manchester South Scouts District. This is one of over 70 Muslim Scout groups now set up across the UK. As a Muslim Scout group, we provide for our youth the activities they would not normally be able to have access to in an environment that is comfortable for parents. We have three sections in our group, catering for young people aged 6 to 14 years: Beaver Scouts (6 to 8-year-olds), Cub Scouts (8 to 10½-year-olds) and Scouts (10½ to 14-year-olds). Currently there almost 100 children registered in the various sections managed by 15 – 20 trained volunteers.
