BMS Finance was founded by its management team in 2004 and since inception has developed a track record in providing loans to UK and Irish SMEs. We do not fund property deals or biotech companies but we are experienced and passionate about backing talented management teams looking to grow their businesses in sectors such as business services, financial services, technology, telecoms, media, engineering and manufacturing.
We don’t compete with traditional factoring, invoice discounting, commercial mortgages or other forms of specific asset based lending but rather have the ability to provide larger and more flexible cashflow lending through senior secured loans. As a result we fulfil a genuine need for UK and Irish SMEs, which are not currently being met by traditional ABL lenders or banks.
As a senior team our experience lies not only in financial analysis, lending and corporate finance but also in the running of SMEs allowing us to have a better understanding of the challenges and requirements facing SMEs than traditional lenders.
Although our lending can sit alongside institutional equity capital backers (venture capital or private equity) we do not require this and commonly back owner-managed businesses.
Our aim is to build genuine relationships with management teams and understand issues before they become critical thus structuring each deal to meet the requirements of the client rather than using an internal score card or “one size fits all" process.
