The Department of Management Studies & Research Centre was started in the year 1992 with an objective of imparting quality Management Education. With an initial intake of 60, the Department increased its intake to 120 in the year 2011. It was approved as a Research Centre in the year 2005 by VTU, Belgaum. The Department has been striving to offer quality Management Education through a team of qualified and experienced faculty members. We also offer various value added programmes such as guest lectures, seminars, workshops, case based learning, course assignments, meet the CEO series, industrial visits etc., to prepare the students to face the challenges in the corporate world. The Department has an exclusive placement cell to handle training needs of the students, project and final placements. Our MBA programme is accredited by NBA for the periods 2019-2022, 2022-2025 and is autonomous under VTU.
