BOBE - Black Owned Businesses & Entrepreneurship Group

BOBE was founded in 2018 by Jason Dean with a strong foundation in grassroots initiatives. The organization was created in response to the lack of employment opportunities available to Black and Brown individuals in Sweden due to "Afrophobia." University-educated Black and minority individuals with limited career prospects were left with no choice but to start their own businesses. However, due to the lack of resources, knowledge, or guidance, many of these businesses failed within the first two years. BOBE was established to address this issue, and to provide a platform that highlights Black and minority entrepreneurs and professionals and amplify their stories. We create tailor-made news, exclusive articles written by our writers, original podcasts and documentaries to create a platform of resources focused on sharing business & entrepreneurship news, motivational stories, and more.
