BODEGAS VIRIATUS

Bodegas Viriatus is a winery from Zamora, Spain, which produces wines D.O. Toro and IGP Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon. We are a family winery. In the wine business for three generations. When we started in the business of quality bottled wine, we opted for a good quality-price ratio in order to make this product of long tradition in our region reach all palates of the world. We use traditional grape varieties in our region, such as Tempranillo, Verdejo and Pietro Picudo, giving our wines the best of themselves. Our wines are characterized by being aromatic, fruity and very soft on the palate. The name of our Bodega Viriatus is a tribute to the Iberian hero Viriato, who resisted the Roman invasion in our lands. Our region host numerous Roman remains, including earthenware jars for wine that demonstrate the great winemaking tradition of the area.
