We are the northernmost winery in the DOCa Rioja, located in a privileged setting under the Obarenes Mountains, with some of the highest vineyards in the region (about 700 meters above sea level). Our land has an Atlantic climate, with extreme conditions that make it difficult to grow grapes. It does, however, give our wines exceptional freshness and unique personality.
This is supported by the use of native grape varieties (Viura, Garnacha and, above all, Tempranillo) which find in our chalky-clay soils the best ally to attain their utmost expression. Four small towns with a total population of barely one thousand and a long-standing, grape growing tradition that started in the XI Century. We own 120 hectares of vineyards, with vines averaging 50 years in age.
We pride ourselves on following the path of our ancestors, who selected the best locations to plant their vines. In the winery, the most modern technology ensures our wines reach the highest quality, combining innovation and history.
