Bohle Ltd

The Bohle Group is Europe’s leading manufacturer and wholesaler of tools, machinery and accessories for glass processing and glass finishing. The group was founded in Germany in 1923 by Josef Bohle and now employs more than 400 employees at fifteen locations in Germany and abroad, operating across eight product divisions - Handling, Glass Cutting, Glass Bonding, Glazing, Tools, Machinery, Fittings and Surface Protection. Having entered the UK market in the 1950s through its distribution network, Bohle acquired Manchester-based Berlyne, Bailey & Co in 1996, changing the company name to Bohle Ltd, the business later moved into new administrative offices and warehouse in Dukinfield just outside the city in 2004. Today employing more than thirty people, its UK operation has enjoyed rapid growth to become Bohle’s second largest market in Europe after Germany.
