BOHRON / Embracing Life - Disruptive technologies to protect life from climate change.

Bohron is a Swiss start-up that develops products aimed at countering climate change and its resulting crises such as water, food, and energy scarcity that generate an increase in the cost of living, social and political instability, and mass migrations. The company is currently developing what could be considered the world's most elegant, intelligent, multifunctional, lightweight, high-performance, green, and safe solar energy system. The product is applicable to the agriculture sector, as well as any other natural or artificial spaces such as roads, squares, parking lots, and buildings because it serves three functions: providing electrical or thermal energy, allowing plants, people, and animals to enjoy the health benefits of natural lighting, and also protecting them from any climatic excesses such as strong sun exposure, heavy rain, or hail. The product installs and removes quickly, works well in any weather condition and for a long time. Finally, the product contains no toxic substances and poses no risks of fire or explosions. The product if applied to the agricultural sector, could increase crop yield and safety, stopping desertification, and enabling us to recover degraded soils to reach the goal of obtaining 14% more cultivable land by 2050. Considering the enormous numbers associated with such cultivable areas, Bohron could earn an average annual profit of 739 million euros from 2025 to 2050, assuming a market share of only 1% of such a market. The start-up has received the technical and financial validation of some certified technology incubators and has initiated the registration of the different patents and begun the first experimental development activities. Bohron is starting to gather the first private investments. The founding members are entrepreneurs with about 30 years of experience in technology. Currently, negotiations are underway with some large Brazilian companies that manage huge agricultural areas.
