Bold Inc., was founded in the spring of 2007 by Darin Newell. Darin & Dan Newell were the original founders of the black rhino® brand in winter of 1998. Bold Inc. also owns several other brands that it markets to the sporting goods industries, (grizzly®, blackpine® & the backside®). Bold Inc. now owns the black rhino® brand that has been sold to over 4,000 US dealers and has just started selling to Australia, New Zealand & Canada. blackrhino® is a professional brand of hand tools, safety products and work gear that has begun to be widely recognized by the professional industry and DIY markets as a “top brand that can be associated with style and quality to match”. Many consumers and retailers feel that black rhino® is on the cutting edge of the industry and can be called the “Oakley® of the hand tool market”.
