BombazoDFW 501c3

BombazoDFW is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to using music and the arts as transformative tools to connect, inspire, and empower communities. Rooted in Puerto Rican heritage, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the vibrant Afro-Caribbean traditions of Bomba and Plena while fostering cultural pride, unity, and inclusivity across diverse communities in Texas. We provide opportunities for children, youth, and adults to experience and embrace cultural identity through traditional music, dance, storytelling, and artisanal crafts. By offering innovative programs and resources, we create a safe space for cultural exchange, build bridges of understanding, and empower the next generation to preserve and celebrate their heritage. Through the healing power of drumming, dancing, and storytelling, BombazoDFW cultivates awareness and celebrates the richness of Puerto Rican culture, while honoring our Afro-Indigenous roots and promoting a spirit of inclusiveness and empowerment for all.
