Bombo comes from ‘bomboloni’: traditional Italian filled doughnuts. Bombo is also derived from the Italian for ‘bomb’, and our soft, light and fluffy filled doughnuts - made over 24 hours with yeasted dough - are little explosions of flavour. Think decadent dessert rather than sweet snack.
Our high-quality, fresh doughnuts, all made from scratch, are produced daily and sold alongside a wide range of beverages. We retail through multiple channels: in our own shops, at events (food markets, music festivals, corporate events, weddings etc.), and through wholesale supply to other local businesses.
We will employ marginalised local young people, initially in partnership with The Perfect Place to Grow, and will have a strong environmental focus, endeavouring to be zero waste from the outset.
