“Bomoko” is a Lingala word meaning “Together” or “Unity”.
Founded in 2017 in Kinshasa, we are a small group of people who decided to implement the changes of perceptive of Cancer in the Democratic Republic of Congo by focusing on three main points that are information, prevention and orientation & support for treatments.
Cancer by its simple definition is a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body by having its specific types named according to the organs or tissues where it is formed.
With that stated, this disease being vast and life-threatening, we are teaming up to find innovative communication strategies to reach thousands of people to share optimistic and useful information regarding Cancer as well as strengthening the awareness of curability of the disease once detected at its early ages.
Bomoko will be offering a new wave of hope for the sick people through our different personalized approach program and support as well as to convey Congolese involvement in fighting Cancer.
We are focused on five types of Cancer : Breast Cancer, Cervical cancer, Prostate Cancer, Leukemia and Colon cancer.
