Food waste has economic, environmental and social consequences society is only beginning to talk about and understand. People are tired of being powerless — we let them be part of the solution.
BonApp empowers members to give and receive fruits and veggies for free. By building a culture around wasting less and doing more with what you have, we encourage them to share what they won’t use. We call it to Practice Abundance.
Nothing like this has been done in North America before. We offer the platform, content and connections to likeminded individuals to affect meaningful social change.
This summer, we raised more than $10,000 to install a network of BonApp fridges across Montreal (five total). These will allow you to give and receive fruits, veggies and unopened items with your fellow trusted community members. We’ll be putting them in trusted and accessible areas like universities, co-working spaces and partner businesses so that you can #PracticeAbundance safely and conveniently!
