Bonding Beyond Borders

Bonding Beyond Borders is a multi media educational game made for and by students. Started as a voluntary project at KU Leuven, Bonding Beyond Borders has earned a lot of recognition with not only teachers and but also global civic minded leaders. Moreover, our social campaign was awarded as winner of the Facebook Global Digital Challenge in Washington D.C. in July 2018. The concept of the game is simple: get to know your unknowns! Through testimonies, players come into contact with various stories and issues. Because the better we know each other, the more we accept each other. Our game has already gone through 10 test-runs and over 250 students across Flanders have learned more about different people, cultures and religions that live in their country. The aim of our game is therefore to bring our diverse society closer together and to let stereotypes decrease.
