The birth of the brand Bonfilet began in 1905 with the livestock and butchery activities of the Akkoyun family and it continued to grow for four generations.
“The meat culture” which is transferred from generation to generation by the knowledge and experience of Akkoyun family is moved from Eskişehir to İstanbul in 1970 by the third generation of the family.Under the umbrella of Akkoyun Meat Market, the company aims to progress in a line focused on customer satisfaction as well as providing fresh and healthy meat products to its customers with the motto “Whether One Ton or One Kilo”.
In 1980, the fourth generation representative of the family Hakan Akkoyun, developed a traditional butchery activity and developed into an innovative process. The brand Bonfilet is established in 1987 with increasing market demands.
Besides the importance given to R & D investments for sustainable competitive power on a sectoral basis, Bonfilet introduces packaged meat and meat products for the first time in Turkey with the serious studies on human health in 1994. Bonfilet packed meat products which started to take place on the shelves of local and chain markets contribute to the sectoral development and bring new actors to the market.
In 2010, Bonfilet Meat Production Facility which is the first meat production facility in EU norms in Turkey opens with the document numbered 34-001.
After 2010, Bonfilet moved to a more comprehensive production model based on automation by increasing its product range and combining its reliable and healthy meat products with its rich heritage from its past, and became a leader in the sector as a trend-setting brand.
Bonfilet shapes all the details from the production stage to the shelves with the superior technology and work force it uses, and reinforces and maintains its knowledge and experience for over a century with the Bonet Döner brand in 2015.
