The BOOKS FOR PEACE Literary Competition and International Award was born from a project of a group of associations: FUNVIC (Fundação Universitária Vida Cristã / UNIFUNVIC) - Brasil club Unesco BFUCA-WFUCA Europe section, ANASPOL (National Association of Local Police NCOs), IADPES International Academy Diplomatic Pax et Salus, National Association of Justice of Peace, with the aim of enhancing literature and books through a literary competition, to promote culture, sport, art, Human Rights, books that deal with the themes of Peace to all round, not only among peoples, but of peoples.
It is essential for us to always keep our guard on gender-based violence, bullying, racial and religious discrimination, social and cultural integration.
