Based in the North East of Scotland, TLA Subsea Ltd is a subsea well engineering company established by 2 highly experienced consultant Subsea Engineers, with the objective of supplying BOP tethering systems and subsea well engineering consultancy services to the Oil and Gas industry.
TLA Subsea have developed a BOP tethering tensioner capable of applying tension using mechanical means only, which negates the requirement for expensive hydraulic tooling and thereby removing the added inherent risk of hydraulic fluid escaping into the environment.
TLA Subsea offer a turnkey BOP tethering service for Operators, Well Management Companies and Service Companies whereby all services can be provided, including equipment rental, engineering, project management and installation services.
In addition to the BOP tethering service, TLA Subsea shall continue to offer subsea well engineering consultancy, from participating in peer reviews and risk assessments to well planning and project execution, with the ability to supply additional personnel on an ad-hoc basis as required.
