Its exact definition is a type of sack made up of jute to hold agriculture produces like rice, maize, cotton, sugar, etc. With the laborious farmers working day and night to earn their living, their hardships and final outcome is supported by the bora. This sustainable product, was, is and always will be an essential item that holds aspiration and happiness to the common Nepali. We, at Bora Studio, take inspiration from such individuals, to share their hardships, the local traditions and culture through the form of fashion apparels. Established in 2017 by Meena Gurung, Bora Studio is a collection of clothing and accessories line, ethically sourced and produced in Nepal. Living by the theme “Quality, not quantity”, Bora Studio reintroduces traditional Nepali attires using local fabrics with a touch of modern simplicity.
