Borås Cotton Contract with roots in the companies that pioneered the industrialization of the Swedish textiles in the 1800s. ART ON FABRIC SINCE 1957. When Inez Svensson joined Borås Cotton in 1957 it was the beginning of a new era. She inspired the organization to an increasing understanding of the value of Swedish design for a successful export. Our focused work with Swedish designers paved way for a more progressive marketing management in the 70-ies and 80-ies giving Borås Cotton a world-wide reputation. HARMONIOUS HUES Todays succesful range of 300cm wide flameretardant fabrics in harmonious hues inspired by nature, together with our design heritage, has given us a strong position on the market. All on stock for immediate shipment from our warehouse between Borås and Göteborg. We also have a classic collection of cotton prints designed by artists like Göta Trägårdh, Sven Fristedt, Lena Boije etc. The cottonprints are especially appreciated by the Japanese market.
