Welcome to BL Safety & Workwear BL Safety and Workwear is a fully Australian owned and operated company. We are Supply Nation Registered, which means we are at least 50% owned by Indigenous Australians. Our unique brand reflects the combining of insights from construction professional Shawn Borger and workwear expert Liam Li. Shawn began his career at an early age, taking over the reins of his family business Borger Cranes (est. 1980) to eventually oversee a team of 400 people operating cranes on construction sites across eastern Australia. Liam built his own career in apparel/uniforms. He worked with Shawn as a supplier for over ten years before the pair formed a partnership to launch a new name in workwear. Shawn and Liam have now combined their tier-one knowledge in the construction and workwear industries to create a one-stop-shop for uniforms, safety gear and PPE, while also creating opportunities for the employment and development of Indigenous workers in Australia. Launched in 2022, BL Safety & Workwear is rapidly becoming the best-known name for quality products. This brand reflects both owners’ dedication to outstanding customer service and lasting relationships.
