Boris Fedorov, mostly known as “Boris the Hacker,” is a former Russian cyber warlord and hacker, now working to help companies protect and safeguard their data and assets from foreign hackers.
Born in 1977 in Soviet Russia, Boris was raised as an orphan in Leningrad, now known as Sankt Petersburg, where he was “recruited” to be trained as a Russian elite soldier. Quickly the KGB discovered Boris vast mathematical potential – rumors have it, that Garry Kasparov himself developed his chess computers to be able to train for his rematch with Boris - and Boris ended up creating, what is essential the foundation for Russia’s cyber warfare today.
However, Boris The Hacker didn’t share the political views of the Soviet Union, and right before the fall of the Iron Curtain, Boris fled to the West, immigrated to Europe and ended up in as a political refugee, living in Taastrup in Denmark. Here, he helps security forces and companies prevent and avoid cyberattacks from the East.
