We believe that one of the biggest climate tech opportunities is on the consumption front. As humans, we collectively consume 100 billion tons of resources and cause 70 percent of global emissions.(!) At Boro.Earth we believe we’re living on borrowed time on our home planet, Earth and we have to do everything in our power to optimize the use of Earth’s resources. Boro.Earth is a community marketplace for companies of all sizes that is built on the foundation of trust that exists in an employee community. Our goal is to encourage change in employee mindsets from buy to borrow. We’re starting with a sharing platform for employees where resources can be reused constantly to get the most out of them, in a trusted environment, offered directly through employers as a sustainability benefit. Employees can borrow and lend idle assets and ensure maximum asset utilization and minimize over consumption of resources that ultimately go to the landfill.
