Founded in 2002 in a stall at Borough Market by Muriel Chatel, Sustainable Wine Solutions are the only providers of reusable wine kegs and wine bottles in the UK. Pairing quality with sustainability, we supply high quality wine on tap with our zero waste range to restaurants, bars and venues, with an in–house cellar tech team providing expert installation services and ongoing support.
We source wines from around the world, transport it in bulk to minimise environmental impact and deliver it to the trade in our unique reusable kegs and bottles from our North Greenwich winery.
Stored in keg, this wine stays perfectly fresh and flavourful, while the tap technology delivers a consistent, high quality serve, from the first to the final glass (and all 200 glasses in between!). Sustainable Wine Solutions is approved by the Sustainable Restaurant Association and our wine on tap system can be found in restaurants, bars and venues across the UK.
We deliver with zero packaging using fully reverse logistics to ensure minimal environmental impact from both transport emissions and packaging waste. It’s also much more convenient for our customers. From independent Zero Waste shops to large scale chain restaurants and bars, we cater to every business who wants to make a tangible difference to the quality and sustainability of their wine list.
Our two owned retail premises, Borough Wines, are located in historic Borough Market and Wilton Way, Hackney.
