The Boston 2024 Executive Committee comprises local leaders who share a commitment to advance the legacy and continued growth of the city of Boston and the Commonwealth. Spanning public and private sectors, this group is dedicated to the process of advancing Boston's bid to host the 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games, while ensuring that the best long-term interests of our communities and people remain at the forefront. As we look ahead, on behalf of both the city of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we believe that pursuing an Olympics and Paralympics bid not only aligns with existing plans for the state's continued economic growth, but can also serve to accelerate the delivery of improvements in transportation, infrastructure, and housing. Put simply, the Olympics can help catalyze the long-term vision of the Commonwealth.
